What we’re about
Hang out with fellow Smart, Sexy, Empathetic, Humorous, Talktative, Emotionally Well-Versed, and Grounded guys who love to read. We are all gay, bi, and some straight men too. We enjoy reading non-fiction books and discussing them together once-a-month at various public “bookish” Twin Cities locations.

Our book club reads a new book every 4 weeks and meets in-person on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
You are an ideal book club member if you enjoy:
- reading a variety of non-fiction topics
- Hanging out with other men to dialogue and have intellectual discussions,
- enjoy a guided monthly book discussion
The group was started with a goal to connect in a low-key environment with more men who all share a love of books. Striving to make a group that’s welcoming and accepting of men who are at a variety of stages in their life.
The group pulls books that cover the non-fiction spectrum: Biography/Memoir, Economics/Money, Food/Diet/Health, History, Philosophy, Psychology, Science, Sociology, Self-Help, True-Crime, LGBTQ.
